Chiayi (a county in Taiwan)
Gesture

Action description
Straighten all five fingers of one of your hands, close all except the thumb, face the finger tips forward, and face the palm sideways; curve the index finger of the other hand, pretend to nip a key with your thumb and index finger, and turn the key on the palm of the first hand; then, press the second hand downward while opening it into a claw. In short, you first pretend to turn a key on a door, and then refer to a location. It is said that Chiayi was pronounced the same way in Japanese as key, hence the sign for key was combined with that for location to refer to the county of Chiayi.
